The title of this post says it all: in response to my post on Friday, Australia has chosen to move towards decency - with a few exceptions - by electing a Prime Minister who can genuinely talk about kindness.
The relief today is immense - five years of abuse have been - hopefully - ended.
(and the very serious considerations of moving to New Zealand can be cancelled.)
