Reading: John Kerry - "Every Day is Extra"

I'm reading John Kerry's "Every Day is Extra" (Amazon), and the dirty, underhanded tactics and lack of personal honesty, integrity and even self-awareness by conservative extremists is staggering.

PS - have got to the rise of the Tea Party lunacy and the drift away from reasonableness. While there is an element of failing to "take people with them" that allowed this to rise, voters have to take the lions share of responsibility for what has happened throughout the world. That has been made particularly clear by social media comments in response to the current climate bushfires crisis.
