Miserliness is not fiscal responsibility

My adoptive father was a bank manager - back in the days when banks saw themselves as community resources, and not just a way to make super-profits. (He hated the changes that happened in the 80s and 90s.)

He taught me to be fiscally responsible - but he taught me to do so while being generous, not miserly.

In fact, I can state categorically that miserliness, which is ALWAYS self-centred, selfish and fear-driven, is most definitely NOT fiscal responsibility.

Disagree? Then start weighing your twisted heart & soul and your lack of beneficial impact on society in your balance sheet.

"Trickle down" has always been BS, but what goes around, comes around - beginning with the harm to growth that comes out of allowing poverty, racism, sexism, and every other -ism that denies society access to the talents,. skills and potentiality of ALL its people.
