A media article worth particular focus: "War is not Inevitable, and Social Scientists are Finding Peace Movements more Effective"

This article is well worth a good, thorough read and a long think, although I disagree slightly that war only occurred after the development of agriculture: I think, more accurately, the scale of war after that point became larger - and eventually became massive, to an existential threat level:
