A step towards future-proofing work by creation of a Lifelong learning fund

 A review by my home state has released its report, which includes a recommendation to advocate for a Commonwealth-level "lifelong learning fund". 

This is a fantastic step - we are now closer to achieving what I term "future  proofing work".

The report discusses the issues associated with such a step, including funding, and assesses past successes such as the National Training Guarantee, and current similar schemes in other nations. 

Now for the recommendation to be adopted, and then for the adopted recommendation to be put into practice ... 

PS - it was nice to see many people lobbying for this (through their submissions).
