This is from an email to my elected MPs:
In view of the staggering revelations that Exxon executives knew (here, from The Guardian, here, from France24, here, ABC) that climate change was real and dangerous, I have to wonder how they can sleep at night.
After
all, by the time we're finished with the effects of what is now a
climate crisis, it is possible the death and certain the global damage
will be worse than the Holocaust. Is wilfully contributing to the near
total destruction of their own species covered by the Genocide Convention Act 1949?
Their
egregious deception of so many officials, governments, and people is
surely covered by laws against corruption and the like.
What action can be taken to hold them to account? Did they ever do any of this in an Australian jurisdiction?

Finally, remember: we need to be more human being rather than human doing.
