Martin Luther King and REAL change [Note: Content Warning - racism, radical activism]

I am a fan of Dr Martin Luther King Jr - partly because of his wonderful wordsmithing, but mainly because of his powerful agency for real change - an agency based on a deep insight and understanding of the nature and basis of problems. 

Given that, there are two articles in my news post to be published in a couple of days which I consider need to be highlighted: 

• “why we shouldn’t confuse “A Day of Service” for King’s radical message - picking up trash is not what King had in mind when he called for a “radical redistribution of political and economic power””; and 
• “Reagan used MLK Day to undermine racial justice”.
