One of the evils of fascism

I read a tweet this morning which said - against a photo of (former) POTUS45 devotees giving the nazi salute - that “The fascists in this photo do not believe [POTUS45] can make their lives better; they believe he can make other people's lives worse. It's a movement of hate and destruction.” The tweet has now been removed, which suggests to me that there was a major, sustained attack against the tweeter by (former) POTUS45 devotees - maybe not, of course: there might be another reason the post was taken down.

However I am very much aware that there are people who want others for a wide range of reasons - including Tall Poppy Syndrome, jealousy/envy, revenge/vengeance, spitefulness, sadism, and psychopathy.

Those motivations are not limited to fascism / politics - in fact, everyday gossip is something I have long considered to be a major evil.

In any case, wherever it is, it needs to be called out/challenged and overcome, because it is evil - no matter that those implementing it may themselves be flawed an damaged human beings, just as one doesnt ignore a six year old with a gun, someone committing emotional violence in a domestic violence situation, nor someone committing a violent physical attack, so too one does not ignore the active evil of this sort of behaviour, and the fact that fascism attracts such people is indicative of one of its manifold evils.
