When one an unconscious bias, that bias operates beyond the realms of our conscious volition: it is unconscious.
That means ALL decisions one makes are potentially subject to the controlling whims of that unconscious bias. Given that, no matter how self-disciplined, determined and firm one may be consciously, it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to make a decision that is free of the risk of taint from that unconscious bias.
Every single person with power, influence, or authority - and I am thinking, in particular of those subversive officials who issue visas to fascist extremists like this - thus cannot make any credible claim to being professional, in my opinion, until they have made genuine and effective efforts to bring their unconscious bias to their conscious levels AND to remedy those flaws.
Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan
Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.
