Widening of the war in Ukraine

Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine has already had a worldwide adverse impact: now, military action is occurring in distant battles, which is a very concerning spread of the war - although probably inevitable, given the difficulty of a resolution in Ukraine.

• this blog states quite clearly that it is about political and human rights matters, including lived experience of problems, and thus I will assume readers are reasonable people who have noted the content warning in the post header;
